A Conversation with Jean-Michel Cousteau

Jean-Michel Cousteau, son of French ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, is committed to educating the world about our shared home—the water planet. Jean-Michel will discuss the need to act responsibly and preserve the underwater ecosystems that are so intricately tied to all life on earth.

For more than five decades, Jean-Michel has dedicated himself to sharing the love and concern of our water planet. He has investigated the world's ocean for much of his life. Devoted to fulfilling his family's legacy to protect and preserve the planet's marine life and raise awareness of ecological issues, he founded the non-profit marine conservation and education organization, Ocean Futures Society.

Hosted by The Learning Society, this program is FREE for students, faculty, staff and Learning Society members.

The community can purchase tickets for $15 to help support the Learning Society's mission to bring leading thinkers and doers to our doorstep.
