Carmina Burana: Part II

Carl Orff's “Carmina Burana” is one of the most famous piece of classical music ever written with a thundering opening and closing movements. Continue the journey with Dr. Justin Smith, Director of Choral Activities, for a guided listening tour through the second half of this thundering masterpiece, as we investigate what makes it an enduring work of musical drama, beauty and emotion. No prior musical training required - all welcome!

Queens choirs will perform this work live, in collaboration with the Charlotte Master Chorale, on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
