Queens University of Charlotte’s Cato School of Education is offering excellent opportunities for teachers to take their education to the next level!

Master (M.Ed.) Programs (33 credit hours):

Master of Education in Literacy K-12

Master of Education in Special Education (general curriculum) K-12

Master of Education in AIG K-12

Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction K-12

Master of Education in Higher Education

Add-on Licensure Program (15 credit hours):

Higher Education

Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT):

We continue to offer the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program for teacher assistants and anyone with a BA Degree interested in obtaining a teaching license and master’s degree.

Residency Program:

We now have a NC Teaching Residency program for teachers who need to take required coursework to apply for full licensure in NC. Completers will earn a teaching license.
