David Romero's Spoken Word Workshop

David is a Mexican-American spoken word artist from Diamond Bar, CA. His work has been published in literary magazines in the United States, Mexico, England, Scotland, and Canada. Romero has performed live in Mexico, Italy, France, and universities across the United States.  He has opened for Latin Grammy winning bands Ozomatli and La Santa Cecilia. Romero has also won the Uptown Slam at the historic Green Mill in Chicago; the birthplace of slam poetry.

David Romero will be joining us at Queens on Tuesday, September 19th for a workshop at 3:40 PM and a performance at 8:00 PM.
 
Workshop information:
David's workshop will start promptly at 3:40 in Dana 110. This is a free event, but we have about 20 seats available. If you would like to attend, please sign up using the form below. We will share more information with you and keep track of the number of seats available. If you have any questions, please email badillocarlosj@queens.edu.Due to limited space, we are requiring students, faculty and staff to sign up for this event.
