Everett Library's Banned Book Read Aloud

Banned Books Week celebrates the freedom to read and spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. In a time of intense political polarization, library staff in every state are facing an unprecedented number of attempts to ban books.

Everett Library is celebrating our freedom to read by hosting a Banned Book Read Aloud outside on the Library portico.  Please join us by reading from your favorite banned book or we can provide one for you.

We've created 10-minute time slots, feel free to read as much or as little as you wish.  Choose the best time for you and sign-up using the link provided.  For questions please email Cindy Nichoslon, nicholsonc@queens.edu.
