"Sincerely Yours" is Yu-Ling Chen's letter to you and all who have been part of her journey. The program features her former colleague, Dr. David Bessinger, performing marimba solos and collaborating with her on piano for “Speak Sincerely” by Ancel Fitzgerald Neeley—a piece that inspired the concert’s theme as a musical letter of sincerity. It also includes the premiere of “Whisper,” composed by Associate Professor of Music, Dr. Zach Zubow. For this piece, Dr. Chen will play piano alongside a track made from recordings of a music therapy session she conducted years ago. A collaborative finale showcasing Lecturer of Music Bob Teixeira on guitar will bring the four of performers together to close the evening.
