https://library.queens.edu/fol/eventsLandis Wade is a recovering trial lawyer turned author turned host of the popular Charlotte Readers Podcast where he has conducted more than 300 author interviews, and was named a Finalist in the Thriller/Adventure category of the 2022 International Book Awards. He won the 2016 North Carolina State Bar short story contest for The Deliberation and received various awards for non-fiction pieces by the Charlotte Writers’ Club and the Pamlico Writers’ Group.
His short work has appeared in Writersdigest.com, The Charlotte Observer, News and Observer, Flying South, Fiction on the Web, and in anthologies published by High Country Writers and the Daniel Boone Footsteps Personal Story Publishing Project. He’s a past board member of Charlotte Writers Club, has taught courses on podcasting, audiobooks, book marketing, and writing, and has been active in the Charlotte and North Carolina writing communities.fter 35 years of practicing law, Landis retired and became “a recovering trial lawer.”
