"People. Land. Water" Panel with Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation

In advance of the Queens Learning Society’s spring lecture with Jean-Michel, Celine and Fabien Cousteau on March 17, Queens is partnering with the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation to host host a Local Water Symposium with panel of environmental, anthropological, and economic experts discussing the role of the waters of the Catawba River Basin to our lives here in Charlotte.

Moderated by John Seary, Executive Director of Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation, the panel will feature the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation’s Brandon Jones, Chris Judge, Professor of Anthropology and Director of the Native American Studies Center, USC-Lancaster and Sean Bloom, Biologist with Catawba Lands Conservancy.
