In advance of the Preyer Lecture, the Preyer family is hosting a Wine and Cheese Reception. All are welcome.

Following the reception, we will hear from Dr. Willie J. Griffin, staff historian at Levine Museum of the New South. Dr. Griffin is a civil rights scholar, educator and Charlotte native. The title of his lecture is "Progress Under Pressure: Fighting Jim Crow in the Queen City."
