Join students, faculty, and staff at Queens University of Charlotte for a student-led discussion and book signing with Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch. Ambassador Yovanovitch will talk about her new memoir, Lessons from the Edge, chronicling her path-breaking personal and professional journey as a well-respected leader in the U.S. Foreign Service.

Ambassador Yovanovitch will share her story of service and the challenges women face in the diplomatic field. As a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine (2016-2019), Ambassador Yovanovitch will offer her perspective on the Ukraine-related first impeachment proceedings against President Trump and provide valuable insight on the ongoing conflict with Russia.

The discussion will be followed by a reception and book signing from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m.
