Student Lecture: Michelle Alexander

Michelle Alexander is a legal scholar, social justice advocate, New York Times columnist and visiting professor at Union Theological Seminary. Her acclaimed best-seller, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness is Queens' 2019 Common Read.

Michelle will engage with Queens students and the campus community before her public, evening lecture Uptown at Belk Theater. 

Please note this event is not open to the public and is an opportunity exclusively for Queens students, faculty and staff.
