Molly Springfield '99 Exhibition: The Marginalia Archive
Alumna Molly Springfield's The Marginalia Archive is an interactive installation examining relationships between readers and texts. The source material - contemporary examples of marginalia (reader's annotations) - is collected into a functioning archive that viewers can browse and contribute to during the exhibition.
Springfield has had thirteen national and international solo exhibitions and numerous museum exhibitions. Her work is included in private and public collections including the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
