Guest Speaker Dr. Dana Gorzelany-Mostak explores the intersection of music and politics in American culture in her lecture on American presidential campaign music. The founder of the website Trax on the Trail and author of Tracks on the Trail: Popular Music, Race, and the US Presidency, she will discuss musical engagement and the articulation of racial identities in the campaigns of Ben Carson, Kamala Harris, and Vivek Ramaswamy.
