Virtual Food for Thought - Dismantling Castes in the Workplace

An unseen phenomenon permeates the workplace, homes, houses of worship, educational institutions, human service organizations, and our government – the caste system has a far-reaching and profound impact on people’s lives and
behaviors, including mental and physical health, financial well-being, and life expectancy.

Learn ways to address this in the workplace with a particular focus on what leaders at all levels can do. Drawing on Isabel Wilkerson’s book “Caste,” our panel members will explore their personal experiences, responses they observe, and strategies they propose to make our spaces more inclusive.

Moderated by John Bennett, Ph.D.,
McColl School of Business
